Progress - on China adoption

For those of you in the know, check this out!!! (Thanks, S for bringing this to my attention!!):

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before June 30, 2006.

What does this mean?? It means we're finally officially ok to adopt from China. Once the dossier gets to China, it goes to the CCAA. They sift through the family's dossiers to make sure the families/ dossiers meet all China's standards. If they have problems, or questions about your dossier, you have to fix them, or get kicked out all together. Once they have reviewed your dossier, and you havne't heard anything, that's good news. Now, we are cleared for take-off... or at least to sit on a shelf and gather dust until next summer sometime. But hey, at least WE KNOW WE'RE IN!!
